What is a Birth Doula?

A Doula is a non-medical trained professional who provides evidence-based education, emotional, practical, and physical support, and guidance during pregnancy, labor/delivery, and postpartum period to birthing individuals and families. Doula services improve outcomes for birthing parents and infants.
